Did you know that one in every sixteen expat assignments fails? Almost two-thirds of these failures happen because it doesn’t work out for the accompanying spouse/partner, who ends up lonely, bored and miserable. Here at Expat Africa I firmly believe that this can largely be avoided – simply by providing practical advice and proper support to accompanying partners and families.
If you’re reasonably sure that you’re moving to Africa fairly soon, book a Skype session with me here and let’s get you underway.
If you’re not at that stage yet, please still click on the link above to sign up and become part of the Expat Africa tribe. Like me on Facebook. Follow me on Twitter. Or check out my latest blog posts at Tales of the Unexpected.

Sounds like a wonderful idea, though soon I will cease to be expat wife (expat mom, expat fifth grade teacher, expat driver & logistician) My husband has moved to our new home in Kosovo, and the kids and I will leave Zambia in June to start our transition to Eastern Europe. Wish me luck!
My husband and I are just a few weeks from beginning our first expat assignment. We will be located in Luanda, Angola which is MUCH differ than life in Texas. Right now I’m overwhelmed and scared to death but I’m very much looking forward to the adventure as well. Luckily, we will both be able to continue to work so that should help with getting settled and in a routine more quickly.
